If you have an old frying pan that you don’t have been using for a long time on your household, make an original chandelier out of it. Such an element of decor will be especially appropriate in interiors made in a rustic style, but if you wish, you can use such a chandelier in a more modern setting.
Step-by-step chandelier manufacturing process
First, the old pan (it is advisable to use an aluminum pan, as it is light) must be brought into proper form. To do this, we clean the inner and outer surfaces with a brush for metal, and then treat them with a cleanup wheel and fine emery paper. The main task is to keep the surface of the pan smooth and clean.
Then in the bottom you need to drill a hole of suitable diameter (it is best to use a step drill for this). We paint the inside of the pan with white paint, and the outside - black. Then, with the help of a knitting needle, we pass the wire through a braided rope, connect it to the cartridge, and the cartridge itself is fastened to the pan using the fitting connection.
At the last stage, we connect the chandelier to the wiring and attach it to the ceiling, and screw the bulb into the cartridge. Just like that, a beautiful and original chandelier was created from an old frying pan and improvised materials, which will decorate the kitchen interior.
