To make an original pendant with your own hands, it is not at all necessary to use some kind of “exotic” materials. An ordinary tablespoon is also quite suitable. Preferably stainless steel.
In addition to a tablespoon, you will also need an image printed on the printer, in the "image and likeness" of which you will make a pendant. A drawing can be any, the main thing is that the sketch fits on a spoon.
First, cut out a paper stencil and transfer part of the image to a tablespoon. And for this it is better to use not a regular, but a permanent marker, which is resistant to abrasion. After that, cut out the redrawn image with the grinder.
The main stages of work
After they cut out excess pieces of metal by the grinder (or drill), you can proceed to the mechanical processing of the product. And for this we use a set of files for metal. We give the workpiece a beautiful appearance.
Next, cut off the handle of a tablespoon, and place the pendant for a while in a solution of iron chloride. After this, we proceed to the manufacture of the second part of the figure. We cut the workpiece either from wood or from plywood, and then we process it with a drill.
At the next stage, we give the wooden blank an original appearance. Then we glue on top the metal ornament itself. We fasten the chain and the product is ready!
