This is a very simple and practical tool for the home workshop. A homemade woodworking tool made from pieces of file is great for a variety of small woodwork.
This tool works better than a simple sandpaper, and is more practical and convenient to use than a regular flat file. For joiners and carpenters, this homemade product can be useful in the workshop.
First of all, we mark out a flat file on the tree in half, after which we cut the grinder into two parts. If desired, you can cut into three parts, if you need to work just such "little helpers".
The main stages of work
First, cut two wooden planks along the width of the file (about 5-8 mm thick). On a circular saw, we give another bar a trapezoidal section. This is to make it comfortable to hold his fingers. Thin strips act as overlays. Then glue the blanks together.
After gluing, we cut the ends of the workpieces at an angle, and then we mill the edges in the upper and lower parts of the bars. Glue a piece of file to the "sole" of each device. The finished handle-holder can be varnished, stained or special impregnated for wood. The result was a very convenient tool.
