"What if ... put wheels from a car on a bike?" This thought, probably, occurred to many men. Well, let's experiment a bit.
You can’t put such wheels on an ordinary bicycle, so we will assemble a new one - from metal and old bicycle parts.
First of all, you need to get two wheels from some passenger car. In this case, the author removed the wheels from the old Nissan.
The main stages of work
In the next step, it will be necessary to make a mount for the front wheel (front "fork"). For this, the author uses round metal pipes. You will also need to install a bicycle wheel.
In the same way, it is necessary to make fastening for the rear wheel. Next, the front and rear “forks” must be welded to the frame, which is made of a piece of a rectangular section profile.
After that, the author welds another section of the profile pipe to the frame so that the seat can be fixed. The seat itself, like the steering wheel, can be removed from the old bicycle.
Now it remains only to install a large sprocket with pedals, and pull the chain. A short chain connects the rear hub to the hub, to which the wheel from the car is attached.
