Even from the most ordinary, it would seem, material, if you wish, you can do it yourself with your own original interior decor or something else, unusual.

It will take a piece of plywood 18-20 mm thick. The shape of the workpiece can be any: square, rectangular, diamond-shaped or round.
You will also need an angle grinder and a chain saw blade for it.

The main stages of work
We install the chain disk on the grinder, fix the blank from plywood on the table, and proceed to its processing.
The goal is simple: you need to make small recesses, randomly located relative to each other, over the entire surface of the workpiece.
At the next stage, we process each “pothole” with sandpaper or a grinding nozzle on a drill (screwdriver).
Further, the author impregnates the embossed surface with mineral oil. At the last stage, it remains only to coat the surface with varnish.
The finished work of art can be hung on the wall in the hall, study or in the studio (or just give it to someone). Also, this technique can be used in the manufacture of other decorative products.
