For knitting hats 54-56 of the size of the head, 120 g of CASYMERE GOLD wool yarn is needed, the meter of thread in 100 g of which is 320 m, as well as hook No. 3.
The drawing report consists of 6 loops. We collect a chain of 96 air loops. This will be our head size.
In each loop of the chain we knit 1 double crochet. At the end, we end with a connecting loop.
We turn the knitting. Under the height of the third column we knit 5 s / sn, 1 in. p. (you can not knit it) and under the height of the fourth column we also knit 5 s / sn. Then we connect the flake to the previous row in the sixth column with a single crochet. So to the end of the row. We end the row with a connecting loop. It turned out 16 flakes.
We turn the knitting again, and over each loop of the previous row we knit a double crochet. We connect a half-loop.
We turn the knitting. So that our scales go in a checkerboard pattern, we start the row with two single crochet in the loops of the previous row and continue knitting. Only now we are tying not 2 and 3 columns, but 5 and 6. That is, our picture is simply shifted by 3 loops and now the edge of the scales of each subsequent row will be between the two peaks of the previous ones.
The report is repeated 10 times. Then proceed to reducing the loops to form the crown.
To do this, when knitting the double crochet loops over the tied columns, we will make two double crochets with a common vertex, that is, to reduce the loops over two tied columns. Why exactly above them? Yes, so as not to make a mistake and evenly reduce the ranks.
When we begin to reduce the loops in the row, the report will change a little. It will not be necessary to attach the binding of the columns to the previous row. Leave some space so that knitting is freer and the crown forms beautifully. Knit the drawing itself as before. In this case, the number of flakes will decrease, and due to the free strapping will be evenly distributed.
After 2 rows of decreases you will have 9 scales left. Continue to decrease. If you have extra loops, distribute them evenly when you do a row of tying the columns in height, skip not 2, but, say, 3 loops.
If 5 or 6 scales are already left, the reduction can be stopped.
To finish the crown, we knit the double crochet over the columns of the previous row from the inside and, stretching the thread through them, tighten.
You got a beautiful crown. There you can insert a tied button of a different color, and you will get a rose.
The hat knitted for an adult woman. But her daughter liked it so much that she had to give it. The child of joy knew no bounds. And warm and beautiful, and no one has it! Wearing with pleasure!
