Tilde dolls have many different variations of performance. However, a distinctive feature of these dolls is their elegance and comfort, despite some primitive execution. The pretty Tilda will not only be a pleasant gift for the child, but will also be a wonderful element in the interior of a room with an adult woman.
This master class will describe the manufacturing process of a simple tilda doll. To do this, you need to take the following materials:
- body fabric (beige, peach or beige-peach shades);
- fabric for clothes (you can use several fabrics that are consonant in color or pattern);
- threads to match fabric for clothes and fabric for the doll’s body;
- satin ribbons of different widths;
- lace;
- woolen threads (any) for hair;
- material for filling the doll’s body.

First you need to draw on the newspaper the contours of the doll’s body parts, cut them out and transfer them to the base fabric. There should be four parts for the legs and for the hands, two parts for the body.

Cut out the details so that 3-5 mm indent from the contour. Fold the details in pairs and walk the wrong side of the machine with the smallest stitch.

After that, the stitched parts must be turned out from the inside to the front side and steamed well with an iron.

The next step is stuffing the parts with filler. It is necessary to stuff tightly, but at the same time “massage” the details so that there are no tubercles. Typically, stuffing thin legs and arms is quite problematic. An ordinary Chinese chopstick or a Japanese hair clip can help in this situation.

Then arms and legs are sewn to the body.

Next, you need to sew a dress. Its pattern should also be transferred from the newspaper to the fabric and cut indented 5 mm from the markup.

It is for the marking on the inside of the dress that you need to walk with a sewing machine. It is also necessary to overcast the bottom of the dress.

On the bottom of the dress you need to sew lace.

Then the dress is put on the doll and sewn along the corsage to the torso.

From above the same lace as on the hem, a collar-cape is made.

In the place where the edges of the collar are fastened, a bow from a wide satin ribbon is attached. On top of the bow, glue is made from beads or pebbles on glue.

An ornament from a thin satin ribbon folded in the form of a flower with beads or pebbles in the center is sewn to the bottom of the dress over the lace.

Then you need to make the doll hair. Woolen threads are threaded through the fabric of Tilda's head. You need to start with the frontal and temporal parts, gradually moving to the back of the head.

The final touch is the face and the hairstyle. "Hair" is formed into a tail and fixed with a thin satin ribbon tied in the form of a bow. The eyes are made of small beads, a slight blush is applied to the cheeks with a cotton swab.
The doll is ready.
