Headlight tinting sequence
1. It is better to remove the part from the car or to paste over the perimeter with masking tape.
2. For matting, we use moisture-resistant sandpaper with a grit of P800 (40 rubles).
3. Dry and degrease the surface to be painted.
4. To apply a reinforcing layer of varnish from a spray can (varnish 500 rubles).
5. After holding for 7-10 minutes, cover the lamps completely with varnish.
6. To achieve greater dimming, another layer is applied (the dimming increases with each new layer).
7. Drying will take about two hours with one and a half layer.
It is important to apply the same amount of tint varnish to achieve the same result on both headlights. In tinted cylinders, a non-transparent, single-component varnish is refilled, this content is toxic and flammable, a respirator should be used to avoid drowsiness and dizziness when inhaled vapors.
