To store a large number of shoes, you can make your own metal stand (whatnot) on four shelves. In this case, we will use the metal forging method.
Forged shoe stand is made taking into account the layout of the room, so the first thing you need to do is draw a sketch of the future design. If you can’t draw by hand, then you can use ready-made drawings, which can be downloaded on the Internet.
The four-tier metal shoe rack looks very beautiful and elegant, as well as quite functional and very practical to use. The choice of materials will directly depend on the design of the metal stand.
The main stages of work
First you need to forge decorative patterned sides of the shoe whatnot, to which 4 shelves will then be welded. They are assembled from individual elements made of a 10x10 mm square bar.
First of all, you need to forge the ends of the blanks, and then give them a curved shape in accordance with the drawn sketch or the selected drawing. The foot of the shoe stand is made in the form of small arcs from the profile pipe 15x15 mm.
After all the forged decorative elements are prepared, you can proceed directly to the assembly of the sides of the bookcase - the parts are fixed with clamps, and then connected with tacks.
On each sidewall, a section of a profile pipe is welded from the back side. Then 4 shelves are made and welded, and a small arch from the profile is made in the upper part.
