On the roofs of houses and outbuildings garbage constantly gets. Most often it is foliage that fell from tall trees, which the wind does not have time to spread around. Other debris washed away by rain into the gutters and clogging them can also fall.
Cleaning, constantly rearranging the stairs, is not very convenient. Therefore, we will produce for this work a simple assistant from improvised materials.
For this you will need: a toilet brush with a turning head, a strong but flexible metal plate, a profile pipe, a small segment of a round pipe, a hairpin and a telescopic stick.
Please note that the round pipe must be taken so large that it can be inserted into it with the existing extension stick. Also, consider the height. And the size of the profile and plate will depend on the width of the gutter. The stud must match the brush thread.
The main stages of work
We cut a spatula from the plate, process it from burrs, cut its edge into several “cloves” and bend them. We weld the blade to the pipe from one edge. On the other, we weld a pin, and in the center a round tube.
Having cleaned the seams with a grinder, we paint the product, not forgetting to leave part of the stud free of paint. It will be necessary to wind a brush on it. It remains only to insert a stick in the central part of the homemade product, and you can get to work!
With a spatula, we remove the foliage and the main dirt, and with a brush we clean the small debris. Almost from nothing, we made a construction from waste materials that can become a good helper for cleaning gutters for lovers to live in a private house or relax in their suburban estates.
