It is most convenient to cut various curly details from wood on a band saw, but not everyone in the workshop has such a machine. Therefore, you can go the other way - to make a simple mini sawing machine from a jigsaw.
In this case, you can use both a battery and a network jigsaw. And first of all, it is necessary to cut off a small piece of a metal plate and an I-beam, cutting it so that a T-shape is obtained.
After that, it will be necessary to drill holes in the blanks: two in the plate, and four in the piece of the I-beam. Further, these parts must be connected to each other using semi-automatic or manual arc welding.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the resulting part will need to be cleaned with a grinder so that there are no irregularities from welding, and then painted. Then the part is screwed to the bottom of the jigsaw with screws.
As a base, on which a jigsaw will be mounted on a metal stand in the future, you can use a piece of plywood or chipboard.
