A popular way to install a TV in a house or apartment is a wall mount. This method is good in that it saves a little space (for example, to place furniture).
As brackets, special brackets or racks are used. If you want to make everything beautiful, you can do it yourself with a wooden stand with shelves on which you can place the remote control and other accessories.
The first step is to prepare the necessary materials: in this case, the master uses the boards. They need to be processed on a planer, and then cut to size on a circular saw.
Further, from these blanks, four panels will need to be glued: two of them are wide, and two are narrow. We clamp everything with clamps, and leave it to the side for now (until the glue dries).
The process of making a wooden stand
At the next stage, it will be necessary to glue all four panels together in such a way that a rectangular “window” is obtained inside.
On the edges of the stand from the back side (which will be directed to the wall), the master screws two wooden blocks.
Further, two shelves (along the entire length of the shield) are attached to the bottom of the TV stand. After this, it remains only to polish the surface and cover with mineral oil or wax.
