Wet-stone factory machines are quite expensive, so you can make an electric grinder yourself if you wish - from the engine from the washing machine and gearbox.
The first step is to grind the grinder adapter on the lathe. If there is no lathe, you can turn to a familiar lathe.
So, to make an electric sharpener with wet stone, you will need a motor from a washing machine, a reduction gear and a grindstone with a diameter of 200 mm (landing hole - 32 mm).
The main stages of work
To connect the electric motor from the washer to the gearbox, the master uses an intermediate plate about 10 mm thick. In the plate itself, you need to drill 4 holes for the engine and four more for mounting the gearbox.
The author makes the basis for the electric sharpener from a piece of the channel, which must be cut to size. A connecting metal plate and additional stops for the gearbox will need to be welded to it.
At the last stage, it remains only to make a handheld and install a magnetic on / off button (similar to the one used in concrete mixers). Design details can be painted if desired.
