A blower (or as it is also called a garden vacuum cleaner) consists of a body with a fan, an engine and a nozzle from which an air stream leaves. In this review, we will make a homemade blower.
The “snail” of the car’s furnace acts as a body with a fan. The pipe can be made from a piece of plastic sewer pipe. And the engine in this case will be gasoline - which is installed in the chainsaw.
First of all, the author cuts a small piece of a blank in which to drill a hole. You also need to cut a piece of round bar.
We insert the bar into the hole, and then scald. Then you will need to weld the washer, inside which there are grooves for the drive sprocket of the chainsaw.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, it will be necessary to cut a small piece of the metal plate, drill a hole in it and make a slot.
To make a slot, first we drill three holes next to each other, and then we remove the partitions with a drill.
Next, the manufactured parts are installed on a chainsaw. First - a piece of round timber with a washer under the asterisk, then - a metal plate. A ring from a thick-walled pipe will still need to be welded to it.
And a sleeve with bearings is put on the bar itself. Then the author cuts the workpiece from the plate, drills holes in it (three at the edges and one at the center), after which it is welded to the sleeve.
At the last stage, we install a "snail" and a pipe from a sewer plastic pipe. Previously, it is necessary to make an adapter for it.
