In this review, the master shows how to make a universal handle for hand tools with your own hands. The handle itself is made of wooden block and epoxy.

The author uses the handle to fix the file for a jigsaw - as a result, he made a homemade hand saw in wood.

However, the handle can be used in tandem with other tools: for example, you can fix a file, file, file, screwdriver, etc. in it.

The main stages of work

First of all, the author cuts a wooden block of suitable length. Then, using a hot nichrome thread, the master cuts a through hole of arbitrary shape in a bar.

The next step is to mix the epoxy with the hardener by adding the desired color. Pour epoxy into the hole in the wooden block.

After the epoxy hardened, the author processes the wooden block on a lathe, giving it the necessary shape.

Then, holes must be drilled in the handle. On the back of the handle, the author installs a bolt with a nut, turned on a grinding machine.

In the front of the handle, the author inserts a clamp with a screw for fixing the tool, made of a stud and two nuts. These parts need to be "planted" on epoxy glue.
