During the construction of the attic floor, I drew attention to the unused space, pockets in the attic space. I figured that future furniture cabinets in the layout of the room would not be very convenient and too expensive. Therefore, to expand the space of the main room, I began the construction of the dressing room.

He began with the insulation of walls and roofs, made it already in a standard multilayer way. For this, I used a 5-10 millimeter Izospan, then partially 10 centimeter polystyrene foam and in some places 50 mm thick glass wool mats.

He mounted the wall partitions as follows, racks made of timber 50 to 150 millimeters wrapped chipboard, remaining from old furniture. He covered all the cracks with mounting foam. For the material for finishing the wardrobe I chose a natural lining made of pine. This is a more environmentally friendly material, with good indicators of thermal conductivity and moisture absorption.

I used a practical and original design move for mounting a doorway - a compartment mechanism with mirrored doors. The width of the passage is 1.65, and the height is 2.45 meters almost to the ceiling, these parameters are due to the installation of two compartment doors. With this width, each door is about 0.85 meters and when moving one it frees up the most optimal passage, and with a large height of the doors to the ceiling, the appearance and space of the room increase.

I trimmed the ends of the walls of the aisle with the remnants of laminated floors and a plastic corner, securing them to screws with plugs.

On both sides of the dressing room, I made shelves for clothes and other things from laminated particle boards.

To accommodate the clothes, he used the installation on special fastenings of furniture railing, which were well suited for the inclined ceiling of the room.

The dressing room turned out to be 8.5 square meters, so I provided for it to install heating and install a radiator. The radiator is installed horizontally and if there is a need to dry the shoes a little, just put it on top.

The dressing room turned out to be spacious, functional and thanks to the mirror design expanding the space of the main room.
