Even the old push-button telephone has a hidden menu, access to which requires a special code combination of keys. Some of them work on all mobile phones, but most are suitable only for models of some manufacturers or working on a separate operating system. Consider 15 codes that can come in handy.
Request IMEI number
Each phone has its own personal identifier (IMEI), which is never repeated. You can see IMEI on the phone screen by typing a key combination *#06#. It will work in absolutely any phone, even on the old push-button. IMEI is used by law enforcement agencies when tracing a stolen phone, so if you have such a nuisance, you will need to provide it.
Hiding your number on an outgoing call on iPhone
Apple smartphones provide code *#30#, after the introduction of which subscribers will not be able to see the caller's number from this phone. This function is disabled by re-seeing the same combination.
