Make a quick set: a table with two benches is not difficult. It will not take a lot of time, it’s very simple to collect in 1-2 hours and decorate your garden with a beautiful table at which you can dine and have picnics.

Preparation of parts for the base of the table

All boards were purchased at the nearest hardware store. Boards for tables and benches have dimensions 1700x120x28 mm, and for legs and base - a larger thickness of 45 mm. All corners of saw cuts have an angle of 22 degrees.

We saw boards on the details according to the sketch. Well, if you are the owner of a circular saw or jigsaw, and if not, then doing it manually is not so difficult.

Side assembly

To assemble two bases, wood screws are required.

Assembly is best done on a horizontal surface. We assemble by fastening with screws.

General assembly of a table with benches

For a more convenient assembly, we nail two straight corners. This is not necessary, but these actions will greatly simplify the assembly process itself and add rigidity to the entire structure.

We begin the assembly by installing this board with triangles. We fasten it in turn to two previously assembled bases.

Then we align the distance between the platforms and fix the side boards, in places of benches.

We continue on the side of the countertops and benches by screwing boards.

There should be a small gap between the boards so that all distances are equal, use a feeler. Instead, you can use any other object with the desired distance and they measure and control.

A table with benches for the garden is ready

The final stage is sanded sharp edges and burrs with sandpaper. It will also be good to cover the table with paint or varnish, then it will last for many years.

If the construction turned out to be not quite solid, then you can add two slats for each side diagonally. In my case, this was not required.
Thanks to such a simple design of a table with benches, they can be made at once for a very large number of people.
