NEW YEAR CARDS FROM CRAFT PAPER

So our leap year 2016 is coming to an end, and ahead of us will soon be the year of the Cockerel, 2017. A sea of emotions, positive, gifts, New Year's miracles, a beautiful Christmas tree at a party, all this awaits us with the advent of the New Year holidays. New Year is perhaps the most beloved holiday of absolutely all people, that kids are happy for him, that adults. You must admit that it’s very pleasant after the difficult and difficult weekdays that accompanied us every day of the whole of 2016, and finally to get a gift from under the Christmas tree, even a small one, but it’s damn pleasant and always unexpected. Any holiday does not pass by without congratulations and wishes, which we always write in greeting cards. Now handmade cards and souvenirs are becoming very beautiful and quite popular. This is perhaps the most pleasant thing that you can get on New Year's Eve, as it is on such a card that you can transfer the magic that we want to see in our house.
So, now we will make two beautiful New Year's cards, but we will have them without any beautiful and bright paper, and the base will be the most ordinary craft paper.
For the master class we take:
• Marble cardboard in white-gray combination, landscape two sheets;
• Kraft paper, two sheets of 20 * 30 cm;
• Burlap;
• Brown ribbon with pompons;
• Stamped inscriptions "Happy New Year";
• New Year's carvings: deer, snowflakes, wishes of brown, gray color;
• Cutting down white leaves of various shapes;
• For decoration, we take: alder cones, berries in sugar white and silver, a heart in silver glitter, white-silver twigs, ribbons, bells;
• Twine;
• Watercolor paper;
• Ink pillow;
• Acrylic snowflakes;
• Chipboards snowflakes;
• Napkins cut from kraft paper;
• Rhinestones chameleon;
• Double-sided tape and Glass Effect glue;
• Ruler, pencil, scissors;
• Dry white glitter.

So, for starters, we need to make two bases for our postcards from marbled cardboard. One workpiece will be vertical with us, and the second horizontal. The vertical base is 10.5 by 19 cm, and the horizontal 10 by 21 cm.

We cut the blanks, fold them and get the basics.

For the inscription, we need to cut two rectangles 9.5 by 20.5 cm and 10 by 18.5 cm.

Along the edges both watercolor rectangles are tinted with a pillow. Now, inside the basics, glue both watercolor rectangles on double-sided tape.

We take kraft paper and cut out two rectangles for each postcard, and also cut out two more narrow rectangles for front decoration. We cut out two strips of burlap, tint two inscriptions, take two more craft napkins.

We glue the burlap, then a kraft paper strip on it, sew on it, then sew on the inscription below. We now paste the prepared Kraft parts to the basics of postcards in front and behind.

Sew both front and back at the edges. Now we need to decorate our cards to a minimum.

We stick the scenery like this. Now we put dots in different places with glue with a glass effect, and then sprinkle with glitter.

Glitter dries on glue, shine appears on the cards and everything is ready. You can write congratulations and delight loved ones. Thanks for your attention! Bye Bye.
