ORIGINAL BIRTHDAY CARD WITH 3D FLOWERS

It is not always possible to choose gifts for the liking of friends or relatives, because you can’t guess whether the present will be pleasant or gather dust on the balcony. But there are gifts that will please everyone - these are gifts made by yourself.
For example, a 3D card with flowers from colored paper is suitable for the beautiful half of humanity, because original and beautiful cards do not have to be bought when you can easily make them yourself.
To make such a postcard - applications you will need:
- colored paper
- colored cardboard under the base
- glue
- scissors
And a little patience!
We prepare the basis. On a sheet of A4 color cardboard we paste a number symbolizing the return of the gift recipient, in my case it’s orange 8. If you are making a postcard not on occasion of the holiday, you can stick the first letter of the name, the main thing is that there is something to glue the flowers on.
Each flower is collected from separate petals. As an example, consider the manufacture of a yellow flower.
We cut 6 identical petals, about 7 cm long and 3 cm wide in the center. Using a smooth pencil, gently twist the petals and glue it on the base, it is advisable not to observe symmetry so that the finished flower looks more natural.

To make double flowers, such as blue-green, we cut 4 petals of each color and glue the blue parts first, and the green ones on top, so that the green petal is between the two blue ones.
To cover the places for gluing the petals, cut out a circle of a different color and glue on top. The leaf is made in the same way as the petals, only a little longer.

The remaining flowers should be made smaller, so they will look more harmonious.
Having pasted all the flowers, we proceed to the manufacture of butterflies. Below in the photo is a sketch of my butterfly, it can be downloaded and used as a template. The dotted line I marked the fold.
