Does your house have a very active baby? He has already grown significantly, is looking for adventure and requires additional entertainment? Do you have a desire to look for something in stores? And no need. From improvised materials you can always craft something very necessary. Please your little tomboy: make a comfortable rocking chair with your own hands - it is quite easy and does not require special additional material costs. And you will deliver a lot of positive emotions to your little researcher with your skill.
Necessary material for making a children's swing:
- plywood, board or particleboard;
- An old mop or plastic tube;
- clothesline;
- drill.
Stages of the work:
1. From a piece of thick plywood, chipboard, board (which is in the house) we cut a square. It will be a swing seat. We drill four holes at the corners of the workpiece.

2. From the handle of an old squeegee or plastic pipe (it doesn’t matter what is available) we cut 7 sticks as long as the seat should be, and 8 sticks shorter.

3. Drill through holes on both sides of each long stick with a drill. Short sticks must be hollow, or they must be drilled from top to bottom.

4. We measure the distance from the place of future attachment to the desired location of the swing seat. We cut two lengths of this distance from the clothes line, plus 20 centimeters per knot. Fold one part of the rope in half, retreating 15 centimeters from the edge of the bend, tie a knot. The resulting loop is the fixture of the top of the swing. Repeat the folding procedure with the second part of the cut rope.

5. We put the end of the rope into the side holes of two long sticks, we string a short stick on it. Then we pass the rope through the hole of the next two long sticks, again we string a short one. We drag the rope into the edge hole of the seat, tie some knots.

6. We pass the second end of this rope through the hole of a new long stick, we stick it into the free hole of the stick strung on the other end of the rope. Next - through a short stick, add a new long one, put it into the second hole of a long stick, already strung on the other end of the rope, add a short stick. Fasten the seat with knots at the bottom. The result was a “side” swing.

Repeat everything with another piece of rope, turning the already attached long sticks at an angle of 90 degrees, placing them parallel to the edge of the seat.

The rocking chair is ready for flight and waiting for its passenger!
Now in your house or garden will be twice as many children's voices. After all, a kid will definitely call all his friends to ride such a wonderful swing.
