Original bonbonnieres

The tradition of giving guests small gifts has become a real trend in recent years. Such a gesture expresses gratitude to the newlyweds for the fact that the guests shared this day with them. Of course, each couple independently decides to give gifts or not, based on their own views, preferences and number of guests.
A classic gift is a bonbonniere - a container with sweets. Bonbonnieres can be filled with marmalade, cookies, dragees, macaroons or small sweets. They do not have to be expensive, they can be done with your own hands.
Today we will tell you how to make an original bonbonniere with your own hands.
Necessary tools and materials:
- small bottles or jars of baby food,
- duct tape,
- acrylic paint,
- scissors
- cork
- a thread,
- cards
- Fresh flowers or plants.
Stages of creating a bonbonniere:
1. We take an adhesive tape, cut it into tonic strips and glue the bottle, dividing it into sectors.
2. Sectors that are not under adhesive tape are painted with acrylic paint. The color of paint can match the primary color of your wedding.
3. Then peel off the adhesive tape from the surface of the bottle and let the paint dry a little.
4. We fill the bottle with dragees or other sweets, close the cork.
5. To the neck of the bottle we attach cards with the words of gratitude that you want to say to the guests.
6. The bottle can still be decorated with a living flower or plant, for example, a sprig of fragrant lilac.
Your guests will be extremely pleased to receive such a cute present made by your hands.
