For tailoring a teddy bear, we need:
• Fabric size 25 × 25 cm;
• Filler for toys;
• A needle and a white thread;
• scissors;
• Sheet A4;
• Needles with ears - 5-7 pcs.;
• A simple pencil;
• Black marker.
For decor:
• Cap of Santa Claus;
• Red fabric 4 × 4 cm;
• Black floss.
And so, get to work.
1. On sheet A4, draw a blank of our bear with a simple pencil.
2. Cut this pattern and apply it to the prepared fabric. In my case, this is a white sheet cloth. Then, with a black marker, we outline the bear’s outline, leaving at the same time an allowance for the stitch of about 5 mm.
3. Now we sew needles with ears in the stitching line.
In order for the cut out two bases of the bear to be even at the joints. Next, we cut the bear strictly along the black outline.
4. Then, using a machine seam, we sew together two parts of our workpiece.
On the right side we leave a small hole in order to conveniently fill the toy with filler.
5. After that, using a simple pencil, we turn the teddy bear inside out and fill the toy with the prepared sintepon through the hole left, evenly distributing it over all parts of the teddy bear’s body.
After we sew this hole with an invisible seam.
6. To make the Mishkin look clearly, and beautifully highlight the paws in black. Namely, with the help of a black floss, we carefully sew the claws on the paws. Three claws on each foot.
7. Now on the tummy of the toy we sew a decorative ragged seam.
8. Then, with a black marker, we make bastings on the teddy bear's face.
We take the face of the Teddy bear as the basis. If desired, decorative stones, beads or special children's devices for toys can be used in the work.
9. In the same way as on the tummy, we sew with the help of a black floss several torn seams on the right and left sides, as well as on the forehead of the toy.
10. Now, according to our outline, we sew in three threads floss eyes, eyebrows, a muzzle and a nose. We sew the usual surface.
11. Then we cut in half the prepared red fabric. These will be blanks for teddy bear patches. Next, we sew these patches with black floss, one we sew on the front right foot, the other on the back left.
12. Sew on a teddy bear a Christmas hat. And that's it, our white bear is ready.
