Creative tulle of own tailoring.
Sewing a tulle is not at all difficult, it is enough to have few sewing skills and the necessary material.
Before you start sewing tulle, you need to decide on the model and choose a color scheme so that the tulle fits into the interior. And then I use this instruction, step by step, to sew.
There are a lot of ways of sewing, you can choose any, as it is more convenient.
-Need to calculate the length. In the example, the tulle will be folded. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the width of the window, and take the tulle 2 times wider.
-Cut a strip of width 25-30 cm from the tulle (if there are curtains, then you can use fabric to match the curtains), connect the strip with the top edge of the tulle and sew along its entire width.
- Cut edges, fold and flash. Fold the upper edge 2 cm and stitch it, this will hide the errors. Also, the edges can be processed with an oblique inlay, choosing according to the color scheme. If there is an overlog, then simply process the slices.
-Next, it is necessary to attach the curtain tape to the wrong side. It will subsequently allow folds to be made. Then check if everything is smooth and nowhere tightened, then flash the tape.
-Then you need to decorate the tulle. To do this, you can cut a strip with a width of about 6-8 cm. Fold it in half with the front side inwards and flash it, and then turn it off.
Folds on a strip can be done right away by sewing a strip onto a tulle. And you can first sew on the strip of folds, and then sew.
But if there is no particular desire to waste time, then you can buy a ribbon and just sew it on the tulle.
-bottom of the strip can also be decorated with ribbon. This can be done either direct or shuttlecocks. It will look like this:
-After this, turn the tulle to itself with the seamy side (the one where the curtain tape is sewn), take the edges of the threads and tighten until the desired width (the width of the window) is obtained, straighten the folds. Tie the threads so as not to constantly adjust, and cut off the extra length of the thread.
That's all: the beautiful tulle is ready, without extra time and huge resources.
Good luck in your endeavors, a little desire and everything will turn out.
